The centenary celebrations of the exclusive University Club of Toronto coincide with the highly successful History of Jazz Evenings.

The Climax Jazz Band re-created the 1920s New Orleans, Trad and Dixieland origins of jazz; and

Jim Galloway and the Wee Big Band musically transformed the club’s lounge into the Cotton Club to illustrate the 1930s uptown Manhattan musical developments.
